This CCT (colour changing temperature) adjustable tape solves the dilemma of whether to opt for warm white or cool white. When paired with a suitable CCT controller this 24v tape allows the user to choose and blend cool white and warm white together to select an exact colour.
The CCT uses 2 x 3014 chips, one 2000k and one 6500k in close proximity to allow for smooth and uniform adjustment. With a 90 CRI rating this tape offers the highest available colour rendering.
The CCT adjustable allows you to adjust manually or automatically depending on the time of day or mood. Ideal to fight fatigue in an office environment. High quality grade A chips for a long term reliable install.
Combine with one of our CCT Adjustable control systems. 3 Wire Connection (White / Warm White / Positive).
It’s so easy to install due to its flexible physical size and the 3M adhesive tape on the reverse can be easily concealed. Our range of LED tape has been installed in thousands of locations and we offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of LED strip lighting on the market.
What Makes Our Tape Premium?
Our premium tapes are printed on a thicker 2 oz. PCB to help with heat dissipation and have a high quality chip producing lower light degradation. These tapes come with a strong 300 LSE 3M tape backing and have cables pre-soldered at both ends of the reel. All premium non-waterproof tapes are sold with an unprecendented five year guarantee.
Premium tapes are better for long term installations and demanding commercial environments where colour rendering and long lasting brightness is essential. Standard tapes provide a great amount of performance for less cost.
How Do I Connect?
Our CCT Tape needs to be connected directly to our CCT Controller so you can adjust between the colour temperatures. To connect from the Controller's receiver to a power supply you can use one of our Standard Range Drivers. For our Premium Range Drivers you can wire in directly via terminals located on the unit, but you will need some additional cable to bridge the gap, we suggest using our 2 core cable.
What Driver do I need?
To work out what driver you will need for each length of LED you can simply multiply the wattage of the tape by the length of LED strip you will be using, this will give you the total wattage the LED strip requires, then simply choose a driver which is at least 10% above this figure.
For this particular tape you may need to take in to account the wattage of both chips.
How Do I Extend?
You can use our CCT Connection Cables here.
