Our angled Straight corner profile is ideal for most projects, the benefit of a straight diffuser allows you to join two pieces around a corner easily. 

The Recessed Flat Aluminium Channels with no trim are suitable for housing and protecting our LED strips. They allow a flush install into grooves or furniture pieces as well as prevent the much unwanted secondary refraction from reflective surfaces and also act as a heat sink, which in turn will increase the LEDs lifetime as well as slowing down any brightness degradation over time.

Available with either a frosted, semi-clear or transparent diffuser which helps diffuse the light from each LED in a much more uniform pattern and also prevents any glare or secondary refraction from occurring.

Diffusers will affect the brightness of LED tapes when installed, as a general guide, please see the information below on how much the brightness is affected by each type of diffuser.

Transparent: 5-10% of the brightness will be taken away

Semi-Clear: 25-30% of the brightness will be taken away

Opal: 50-55% of the brightness will be taken away

Black: 65-70% of the brightness will be taken away

The use of diffusers will also alter the Kelvin Temperature of the LED Tape by approximately 10%. Opal diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear warmer, Semi clear diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear cooler.

These channels angle the light to 45 degrees, making them perfect when it comes to highlighting product displays or shop windows.
