Tile-in Aluminium Profile - 2 Metre Length

Tile-in aluminium profile allows you to create stunning modern lighting, suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and any tiled area. Due to the unique edge rim you can place standard depth tiles up to 10mm width on top and seal the edges as you would do normally when tiling. Also suitable for outside edges.

The end effect will be a stunning light which is seamlessly integrated with your bathroom/kitchen. Available in silver, we recommend using No Spotting Strip Lights to ensure you get the best light output.

Not suitable for floors or areas where the profile will be walked over.

These Aluminium Channels are suitable for housing and protecting our LED strips. They allow a flush install into grooves or furniture pieces as well as prevent the much unwanted secondary refraction from reflective surfaces. They also act as a heat sink for them as well, which in turn will increase the LEDs lifetime as well as slowing down any brightness degradation over time.

Please note: The diffuser and end caps for this aluminium channel will need to be purchased seperately.

Diffusers will affect the brightness of LED Strip Lights when installed, as a general guide, please see the information below on how much the brightness is affected by each type of diffuser.

Transparent: 5-10% of the brightness will be taken away

Semi-Clear: 25-30% of the brightness will be taken away

Opal: 50-55% of the brightness will be taken away

Black: 65-70% of the brightness will be taken away

The use of diffusers will also alter the Kelvin Temperature of the LED Strip Lights by approximately 10%. Opal diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear warmer, Semi clear diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear cooler.
