A UK Declaration of Conformity is a legal document confirming that a product complies with applicable UK statutory requirements. It includes:
Manufacturer details
Product name
Applicable regulations
Designated standards
Confirmation of conformity
Under the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) framework, this declaration is required for products that fall under safety, EMC, and environmental regulations, including LED lighting systems.
Ultra LEDs products meet all applicable UK statutory requirements for safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS), and are supported by UK Declarations of Conformity in line with the UKCA framework.
To support specification, documentation, and regulatory requirements, these declarations are now available for direct download across our stocked and manufactured product ranges, including LED strips, drivers, control systems and accessories, for use in UKCA marked projects, public tenders, commercial fit-outs and regulated installations.
Ultra LEDs products comply with the following UK regulations:
Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016
RoHS Regulations 2012 (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances)
Each product listing and accompanying documentation has been updated to reflect these standards, including test references such as EN IEC 60598 (safety of luminaires), EN 55015 (radio disturbance), and IEC 62321 (RoHS screening).
For contractors, designers, and procurement teams, a Declaration of Conformity provides assurance that a product meets legal requirements for installation and use in UK-regulated environments. It is often required for:
Public sector tenders and commercial specifications
Large-scale architectural or retail fit-outs
Projects where full compliance documentation is mandatory

UK Declarations of Conformity are available for all product categories supplied by Ultra LEDs, including LED strip lighting, Neon Flex, drivers, controllers, accessories, and other components.
Each declaration is signed by Managing Director Tom Ralston and includes full references to the applicable test standards for traceability and compliance.
