Our Range

Essential

Ideal for temporary installations such as seasonal display lighting or audio-visual events, the essential range is made using high quality PVC and offers a fully diffused light output for non-spotting, ambient illumination. Using heat shrink tubing and a silicone glue, the essential neon series can achieve an IP65 rating subject to correct installation and can therefore be used in indoor projects where some light exposure to water or steam may occur. All our essential neon flex comes with a 1 year guarantee as standard on indoor installations and 6 month guarantee on outdoor installations.

Please note that our essential neon flex range requires an additional accessories pack kit which includes everything you need to install it correctly.

Professional

Made using injection moulded silicone, the professional range is the most malleable flex yet. Compared with traditional neon tubes or PVC neon, the silicone material offers greater flexibility with a smaller bend radius. It’s durable IP65 body and fully diffused, high quality light output is ideal for professional installations both indoors and outdoors where light exposure to water may occur. The professional range is also resistant to saline solutions, acids & alkali, corrosive gases and UV and comes with a 3-year guarantee as standard, giving you peace of mind. Available in custom lengths up to 5000mm or as a handy 10m kit which includes everything you’ll need to install it.

Architectural

If you’re looking for durability, the architectural range is the flex for you. With a level of versatility unparalleled on the market, our architectural neon is UL, TUV, CE & RoHs compliant and tested to rigorous mechanical and photometric standards, ideal for architects, largescale projects and permanent installations. Age tested against chlorine, salt and solvents and flame resistant, the architectural range is complete with a 5-year indoor and outdoor guarantee as standard. Fully encapsulated, it holds an IP67 ingress rating thanks to injection moulded connections and can achieve an IP68 rating if required. Ideal for use in facades, yachts, stadiums and more.

Things to consider when choosing LED neon flex

Horizontal or Vertical Bend

Most neon flex can only bend on one plane, i.e. horizontally or vertically. Vertical bend or side view neon flex emits light out of the side of the neon and is therefore used for achieving vertical bends. Horizontal bend or top view emits light out of the top of the neon and is used for achieving horizontal bends. Circular rope light can bend in any direction and offers 360 degree illumination, making it able to achieve bends in any direction. Be sure to check which bend direction you require for your installation.

Bend Radius

The bend radius of neon flex refers to the minimum radius you can bend it to before damage occurs. PVC typically has lesser bending capabilities than silicone flex due to the slightly more rigid material. Typically, the smaller the flex the smaller the bends it can create. With this in mind, our micro flex lends itself best to use in sign writing and other applications where intricate shapes need to be achieved.

Flat or Domed

Most of our neon flex is finished with a flat light plane, meaning the profile of the flex is square or rectangular. Some of our neon including our essential neon is finished with a domed light plane for a lightly wider beam angle.

Silicone or PVC

As well as typically being more flexible than it’s PVC equivalent, silicone neon flex usually has a higher IP rating too. Because it is injection moulded, silicon flex is better sealed from dust and water, making it more durable and suitable for use outdoors.

Mounting, Recessing & Suspending

Neon flex can be mounted to your desired surface in a variety of ways including mounting brackets, mounting tracks and moldable track. It can also be recessed into surfaces. This more specifically applies to the micro neon flex with its thin dimensions and extra flexibility. Our circular neon flex can also be suspended using the recommended accessories.
