Introduction: 

Introducing our Tagra Surge Protector for use with our TRIAC Dimmable LED Drivers. Use with a TRIAC Dimmable LED Driver to suppress the inrush current when the LED driver is switched on. When used in series it helps protect and ensure the safety and stable operation of the TRIAC Dimmer. 

When the LED driver is switched on, an inrush current is generated. The surge protector has a high resistance value at room temperature to suppress the inrush current. When the surge protector heats up the resistance value drops rapidly, reducing its own power consumption. 

Design to be used inline between a TRIAC Dimmer and TRIAC Dimmable LED Driver, this Tagra Surge Protector is capable of withstanding a load power of between 200-480W. It requires a 100-240V AC input and can handle a maximum current of up to 2A.  

Installation: 

Available in IP20 making it suitable for indoor installation. Designed to be connected between a TRIAC Dimmer and TRIAC Dimmable LED Driver. Features mounting locations for mounting to a surface. We recommend this product be installed by a qualified electrician.
