Hide & Seek Festival is a boutique electronic music festival set within the enchanting grounds of Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire.
Known for its mix of vintage house, disco and techno, Hide & Seek Festival in 2025 needed a lighting solution across its multiple stages in the magical woodland setting, ensuring the atmosphere matched its creative vision.
We worked with Opix Lighting to specify the project, supplying a large-scale install to support the full site.
The specification called for vibrant RGB output, advanced DMX control, and unwavering reliability for temporary outdoor builds.
Products used:
– Tagra RGB COB LED Tape (50m reels): Used on stage and scenic structures for consistent RGB output.
– 1m RGB Neon Tubes: Applied to create linear lighting effects across site features.
– Tagra 20V 320W Constant Voltage LED Drivers: Provided stable power for extended LED tape runs.
– LTECH DMX LED Decoders: Enabled multi-zone DMX control across lighting systems.
– Pro Low Voltage 5-Core Cable: Distributed low-voltage power and signal between zones.
– 10mm RGB COB Tape to Wire Connectors: Quick-fit terminations between tape and cabling.
– LED Strip Solderless Connectors (10mm): Supported on-site tape joins without soldering.
From the audience perspective, the lighting helped shape the atmosphere of each stage, using a mix of products to suit different setups and sounds. RGB Neon Tubes and COB LED Tape enabled smooth colour changes, bold washes and vivid gradients that responded to the music and elevated the experience across the site.
