NEXT, a long-term customer of Ultra LEDs, required a lighting solution for its Spring 2026 retail displays. Ultra LEDs supplied a complete LED tape and Tagra Connect (formerly Syndeo) setup for rollout across 350 stores worldwide.
The brief called for consistent light output across bespoke display bars, with the hardware integrating discreetly within the joinery for a clean, uninterrupted finish.
For a rollout of this size, the installation also needed to be straightforward for the teams fitting the displays. Tagra Connect, previously known as Syndeo, provided a simple, repeatable way to connect the lighting, helping NEXT achieve the same setup across hundreds of stores without adding unnecessary wiring or preparation on site.
Ultra LEDs supplied Tagra Pro COB LED Strip Light Cut Anywhere, a warm white LED tape supplied in custom lengths for integration within NEXT's bespoke display bars. The lighting was supplied alongside Tagra Connect drivers, giving the installation teams a simple way to connect each prepared length on site.
The cut-anywhere design allowed each section to be supplied to the required length, helping maintain a continuous line of light throughout the displays.
Rather than requiring each store to prepare and wire the lighting from scratch, Tagra Connect meant the prepared lighting could be connected into the compatible driver as part of the display installation. Across 350 stores, this made a significant difference to how easily the same setup could be repeated.
Clear cabling supplied as part of the system helped maintain a discreet appearance within the display bars. Combined with the pre-cut LED tape, it kept much of the preparation away from the installation itself and gave NEXT's teams a much simpler setup to work with.
Tagra Connect gave NEXT's installation teams a simple way to connect the prepared lighting at each location, reducing the amount of wiring and preparation required across the rollout.

The completed displays provide warm white illumination across NEXT's Spring retail environments, helping highlight featured products and seasonal collections.
The continuous COB light source provides a clean appearance throughout the display bars, while supplying the tape pre-cut and ready to connect through Tagra Connect made the lighting much easier to replicate across all 350 stores.
For NEXT, that meant installation teams could work with the same prepared lighting setup from one store to the next. For a rollout spanning 350 locations, simplifying that process was just as important as achieving a consistent finished display.
