Light Partners Ltd, renowned for their expertise in specialist and architectural lighting design, delivered a standout lighting solution for a private gym.
Tasked with creating a visually unified and highly functional environment, the team designed, specified and oversaw the installation of a comprehensive linear LED system, ensuring the gym’s lighting matched the exceptional quality of its equipment.
The installation featured 224 metres of Tagra Pro Low Voltage Cable (5 Core, 0.5mm², Black Sheath), providing robust and reliable power distribution for the extensive LED runs. Eighteen lengths of Surface Mounted LED Profile Channel (35 x 35mm, Black) were used to house the lighting, delivering a sleek, architectural finish and ensuring optimal heat dissipation and longevity.
To achieve continuous, uninterrupted lines of light, 28 reels of High Definition LED Strip Light (24V, 240 LEDs/m, 20W/m, RGB+4000K) were custom-cut and integrated throughout the gym.
This high-density LED tape offers superior colour rendering and uniform illumination, essential for both workout visibility and aesthetic appeal.
The system was securely suspended using three LED Profile Suspension Kits (2m) and precisely fixed with 22 packs of LED Profile Mounting Brackets, guaranteeing stability and alignment across all lighting runs.
The result is a gym environment bathed in consistent, high-quality light, with seamless linear runs that accentuate the space’s modern design. The RGB+4000K LED strips allow for dynamic colour control, enabling tailored lighting scenes that energise workouts or create a calming atmosphere for recovery. As the client noted,
