For over 10 years, Ultra LEDs has worked with Golf Sim Rooms, supporting lighting systems across more than 500 simulator installations throughout the UK.
From converted garages and garden rooms to fully specified commercial venues, each project must meet the same build standards. As installation volume has increased, maintaining lighting consistency across every site has become critical.
Each simulator space differs in layout and finish, but the lighting must perform the same way every time. This article highlights how that repeatable standard is delivered across recent installations, and how a consistent specification supports projects at scale.
"Our growth has really come from refining the build process and scaling a team that can deliver the same standard across hundreds of installs. As projects have become larger and more design-led, partnerships with reliable suppliers have been critical in helping us maintain consistency at that scale."
– Golf Sim Rooms
Their expertise spans high-spec fit-outs, integrated lighting, and turnkey solutions across diverse property types, from barn conversions and garden rooms to garage transformations and commercial venues.
Each project differs architecturally, but the installation standard remains consistent. Maintaining that consistency requires reliable components that behave predictably across every site.
In their latest series of projects, Golf Sim Rooms completed five installations, ranging from a Hampshire barn conversion living room to commercial and residential garden rooms in Essex and Birmingham, a garage conversion in Kent, and the Replay Golf commercial venue in Windlesham.
Although the spaces vary in layout and scale, the lighting specification is engineered to deliver consistent performance across all environments.
Lighting is integrated into perimeter recesses, ceiling details and architectural joinery, ensuring clean linear output while maintaining the same output quality across each install.
The RGBW 24V COB strip provides continuous, dot-free illumination with uniform colour blending. This allows flexible scene control without visible diode spotting, maintaining a clean visual finish within enclosed simulator spaces.
The 24V COB Warm White 2700K strip introduces a softer ambient layer, particularly suited to residential installations where multi-use functionality is required.
24V TAGRA drivers were selected to ensure stable, flicker-free power delivery. In commercial environments, this supports extended operating hours and consistent output over time.
The COB format enables discreet integration into recesses, joinery and perimeter detailing, preserving clean architectural lines while delivering predictable results across multiple projects.
Golf Sim Rooms requires lighting systems that can be installed repeatedly while maintaining the same output quality and integration standard.
Tagra products are engineered to behave predictably, perform consistently at scale and integrate cleanly as part of a complete linear lighting system.
Engineered correctly. Installed with confidence.
The result is linear lighting that can be relied upon from first install to final handover.
Ultra LEDs supplied the specified lighting components to support Golf Sim Rooms’ installation requirements. Product reliability, consistent availability and system compatibility enabled repeatable results across multiple projects without redesign.
Golf Sim Rooms continues to deliver high-quality simulator installations across the UK. Supporting that growth requires lighting systems that maintain the same performance standard across every build.
