Ultra LEDs partnered with Designs Signage Solutions to deliver a bespoke lighting solution for Lane7’s Manchester venue — a ten-pin bowling and entertainment space located in the Great Northern Warehouse on Deansgate.

Opened in May 2021, the site required a dynamic, multi-zone lighting scheme to support its social, gaming, and branded environments.

Designs managed the full signage scope, working closely with Ultra LEDs on a lighting installation featuring our RGB+4000K Professional Toning Series LED strip lights and DMX-compatible drivers.

Designs Signage Solutions delivered the full signage scope for this project, including product specification, fabrication, and installation.

Ultra LEDs’ RGB+4000K Professional Toning Series LED strip lights were installed across bowling lanes, ceiling features, and branded signage throughout the venue.

The combination of RGB colour and 4000K white output allowed Designs to create both static white lighting for general visibility and vibrant colour-changing effects for entertainment areas.

To enable multi-zone control, each lighting feature was powered by 75W constant voltage drivers with integrated 4-channel DMX decoders. This setup allowed synchronised lighting scenes, dynamic colour transitions, and individual zone control — supporting a consistent experience across the venue’s social and gaming spaces.

The system was designed to meet the demands of a high-footfall commercial environment, delivering consistent, controllable output across multiple applications within a single venue.
