Mun & Hira Fitness Studio in Gravesend, Kent, is a private, transformation-focused gym led by personal trainer Mun Dhariwal.
Known for delivering bespoke 1-to-1 and group coaching in a modern, brand-driven environment, the studio required a lighting solution that would energise the space, reinforce its visual identity, and support a premium client experience.
Ultra LEDs supplied 100 metres of Tagra RGB COB LED Strip (IP20 and IP67), installed along the studio’s ceiling perimeter and recessed feature trays.
The installation incorporated:
Deeper profile sections were used to improve diffusion and LED concealment. Diffuser selection was based on required output control and visual finish.
Power distribution was managed using multiple 24V constant voltage LED drivers rated at 320W, 150W and 100W. Driver sizing was matched to circuit loads to maintain consistent 24V performance across extended runs.
Control was delivered via six 5-in-1 RF LED controllers and two multi-zone RGBW RF remotes, enabling independent colour adjustment across defined lighting zones.
4-core silicone cable and low voltage wiring were used for RGB connections and driver integration.
Tagra RGB COB LED Strip (IP20 & IP67)
Provides continuous linear output without visible diode spotting when diffused correctly. The IP67 variant was specified in areas requiring additional environmental protection. COB construction allows close LED spacing for uniform light distribution.
Surface-Mounted Aluminium Profiles
Profiles provide structural housing and heat dissipation for the LED strip. Diffusers reduce glare and improve light blending across the full run length.
24V Constant Voltage LED Drivers
Drivers were selected based on total load calculations and run lengths. Correct sizing supports voltage stability and long-term reliability.
RF Controllers & Multi-Zone Remotes
Enable segmented RGB control without rewiring, allowing different training areas to operate independently.
