A new golfing venue has arrived in Manchester city centre. Pitch combines Trackman golf with a premium bar and social experience for golfers and guests alike.
The two-storey bar features golfing simulators, two bars, a retail golf shop, and dedicated spaces for socialising, all of which required a neon flex lighting solution.
Thronmoor Services Ltd, a long-term partner with Ultra LEDs, specified our Micro 3 Neon Flex to deliver the installation in full.
After the success of Pitch’s venues in London and Dublin, the golf and shuffleboard bar expanded to Enterprise City in Manchester in September 2025.
The venue houses 10 Trackman simulator bays and private rooms, all of which required a dedicated Neon Flex lighting system.
A TRENDYGOLF store sits at the entrance, stocking brands such as J.Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, and Malbon Golf, where recessed lighting was integrated across the retail displays.
Outside of the retail store and simulators, Neon Flex was recessed into the back bar display alongside the vinyls, and fitted beneath the bar counter, inside cabinetry, and within other joinery details.
Ultra LEDs’ Micro 3 Neon Flex (3000K) was powered by Tagra 24V drivers and mounted using the 3×6mm mounting track profile. Its compact size made it the right solution for Thronmoor to install across recessed details and joinery throughout the venue.
Trackman simulator bays – installed into the ceiling channels, cabinetry in the rooms, and beneath the bar counters.
Bar display – fitted under counters, within bar displays, and inside cabinetry.
TRENDYGOLF store – recessed into the clothing display units.
An Edin Plus dimming system was installed in the Trackman bay cabinetry, activating the Micro 3 Neon Flex to turn on when cabinets were opened.

Thronmoor Services Ltd have been operating since 2000 and are a long-term client of Ultra LEDs. The company carry out full electrical installations for hospitality, leisure, and commercial venues.
Based in Haverhill, Suffolk, the team manage projects from start to finish, working closely with contractors and suppliers to deliver reliable, well-finished results.
Ultra LEDs have supported Thronmoor on many projects, including Pitch Manchester, Gym & Juice Club in Haverhill, and Boom Battle Bar in Cambridge.
Each project used tailored LED lighting to meet the specific requirements of the space, supplied and supported by the Ultra LEDs team.

Where last-minute adjustments were needed, such as bespoke lengths or tailored solutions for specific areas of Pitch, the team ensured these were supplied accurately and on time.
