Love Island 2025
Love Island returns to Mallorca for its twelfth season, with a brand new cast of islanders, a refurbished villa, and another summer of made-for-TV chaos.
This year’s villa comes with a whole new set of spaces to explore, from a revamped Hideaway made for breakups and drama, to updated bedrooms, lounges, and all-new glam stations.
Ultra LEDs once again supplied the integrated lighting across the villa, marking our third consecutive year supporting the show's evolving set design.
Love Island 2025
Season twelve launched on 3 June 2025, bringing another round of villa politics to Mallorca. Maya Jama returned as host, with the first week introducing 18 new islanders and an early run of bombshells that shook up initial pairings.
The Love Island season has already delivered its share of twists. Casa Amor returned in July, bringing six new bombshells and multiple dramatic recouplings.
Movie Night reignited tensions between Harry and Rheo. And Toni’s now-infamous terrace crawl drew instant comparisons to Ekin-Su’s from 2022, fuelling early-season drama.
All of this unfolded in a fully refurbished villa, complete with a new RGB lighting system once again supplied by Ultra LEDs.
The Lighting Behind Mallorca’s Most Iconic Villa
For the 2025 season, ITV lighting director James Tinsley led the lighting install to match the villa’s new layout and updated colour palette.
The production team needed a system that could integrate cleanly across signage, furniture, bedroom features, and selected outdoor areas.
Over 200 metres of our Pro Horizontal 12 LED Neon Flex (IP67) was supplied for the install, offering flexible routing through tight locations while being fully rated for indoor and outdoor use.
The RGB version was selected to align with the bold colour scheme featured throughout the villa.
Another Season On Set
Ultra LEDs has worked consistently with the Love Island production team for three consecutive years.
In 2025, this included supplying lighting for both the main summer villa and the All Stars series, which saw returning islanders re-enter the villa. Read more about All Stars 2025 here.
The Pro Horizontal 12 LED Neon Flex remains the preferred solution for Love Island installations, offering flexible, seamless integration across the set. Its IP67 rating and durability make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, supporting long-term performance across multiple zones.
