Lighting Soho With Neon
James required 30 metres of our Pro Horizontal 12 LED Neon Flex RGBW. The system was programmed to run vibrant 80’s-style pastel sequences as well as a static 3000K warm white.
To support the Neon Flex, 21 metres of aluminium mounting track were fixed in place, with end cap kits sealing and protecting connections. Control and power were distributed using five-core low voltage cable, linking into a DMX network powered by LTECH DMX decoders.
Programming was carried out through ArtNet, with a custom-built interface linking the Neon Flex to Zigbee smart bulbs. This allowed both fixture types to run under the same software, giving Soho unified control across the scheme.
Expanding the Lighting Scheme at Soho
Following the success of the entrance, Soho asked for the design to be extended across the main room.
More of the Pro Horizontal 12 Neon Flex was installed along the girders and between booth seating, expanding the pastel-inspired colour sequences throughout the space.
Additional Neon Flex was also installed beneath the bar and behind the booths to wash the brickwork. The existing moving heads were retained but connected into the DMX network, synchronising with the smart bulbs.
