Tenpin Bowling, Manchester Printworks

From all-day karaoke to evening bowling sessions, Tenpin at Manchester Printworks brings it all together under one roof, illuminated by an RGB Pixel lighting system installed across the entire venue.

Opened in 2020 as Tenpin’s 46th venue, the site spans two floors of the city-centre Printworks complex. It features 12 interactive bowling lanes, arcade games, karaoke booths, pool tables, and American-style bar areas designed for both family visits and nights out

We partnered with AV specialists Perfect Octave to supply a custom RGB Pixel lighting system. Their team handled the full fabrication and installation, with lighting configured specifically for the Tenpin environment.

Inside Manchester’s Flagship Tenpin Venue

With over 46 venues across the UK, Tenpin is one of the most recognisable names in bowling and arcade entertainment.

Its Manchester Printworks site is one of the most prominent, featuring 12 full-length lanes, arcade games, karaoke booths, pool tables, table tennis, beer pong, and food, all spread across two levels of the bar.

Perfect Octave delivered the full lighting install, using 50 metres of Chronos RGB Pixel tubes programmed to respond to each area of the venue.

Based on the type of game being played or space being used, visitors see the lighting sequences change gradually throughout their visit.

Behind The Pixel Lighting

The system used 1.5 metre Chronos 360 RGB Pixel LED tubes, supported by Chronos cabling and connectors.

Chronos tubes were mounted along the ceiling above the bowling lanes, integrated into the bar structure, and installed above the arcade area.
